Villa Cypress made entirely of stone, in a land of 400sqm, represents the alternative side of Crete, as it is located in one of the most traditional villages of the island. Walking towards Maza village is a great chance to enjoy the landscape, taste Cretan cuisine in the traditional taverns. In the picturesque village of Vrysses (only a few min. drive) you can find all necessary amenities (pharmacy, bakery, mini-market, etc.) Of course, a car rental is highly recommended, so you can make short excursions in the area around. The beautiful Georgioupolis village and beach is one of the highlights of the area, very close to the villa!
The villa is a single-story country home with a total living area of 135 sqm. This area consists of a spacious living and dining room, a big kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. What is special about this villa is that the element of the tradition is spread in all its spaces giving you the chance to experience the authentic Crete!
Entering the interior of the house, there is the living room as well as the dining room. The stone-made walls, the wooden ceiling made by thick trucks, and, of course, the big stone arch leading to the kitchen will impress you at the first sight!
The living room features a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, and a small wooden table in natural colors and vintage style! On the other side of the room, there is a big dining table. Enjoy the views of nature from the big windows while eating traditional Cretan delicacies!
Passing through the stone arch, there is another wooden traditional sofa and, of course, the spacious, traditional designed kitchen of the villa, fully equipped with everything you need!
A small corridor on the left side leads to the bedrooms. The first bedroom features a double king-size bed with comfortable mattresses and pillows, commode, closet, mirror, and air-conditioning.
There is also an en-suite bathroom with a separate door. Wood and stone dominate also the king-size bedroom.
The other two bedrooms have 2 single beds each. The first one features similar colors and decorations as the king-size bedroom. Stonewall, two commodes, furniture in light blue colors. The second has two single beds, one commode, and a closet. The stone frame around the door is the highlight of the decoration here!
Finally, the Master bathroom designed in the same style as the entire home features a comfortable space with a double washbasin and jacuzzi hot tub!
All areas of the villa are fully air-conditioned with cooling and heating, and are accessible with Wi-Fi,
Visiting the exterior of villa Cypress, you will find a beautiful patio and a big garden with another dining table offering wonderful views of the pool and the surrounding landscape. Prepare your meal by using the built-in BBQ and enjoy it while your kids are playing on the huge lawn garden surrounding the villa! The 35 sqm. private pool facing the Cretan mountains will become the highlight of your family moments. Enjoy the coolness and then relax on the comfortable sunbeds by the pool.
In addition to the dining table, two wooden benches with a wooden table and a wooden swing give the villa’s garden the ultimate sense of romance and relaxation. The fence around the villa offers full privacy and safety for the kids.
What is worth mentioning is that, really close to the villa, there is a farm with two horses, a pony, two deer, and a sheep. You can tour the farm and enjoy a unique experience strolling with some of the horses – an activity that is provided for free. Apart from the farm, there is a vineyard and two vegetable gardens, where you can taste wine, raki and try the fresh vegetables of the garden – again at no charge.

Car is necessary for a stay at the villa! Only 30 min from the Chania city and the Famous Venetian Old town and Port, offering a wide choice of activities for all ages.
