Amenities

Pirates, Arabs, Venetians, Roman, Turkish, and many more, just wanted to conquer the place called “ Birthplace of Zeus”. Mountains, lakes, tropical beaches, forests, gorges are all parts of the picturesque scenery in Crete.
The capital city of Chania is located in west Crete. The city boasts of its old port which is one of the most sought-after spots on the island. The whole port has been built by the Venetians and its major landmarks are the lighthouse at the entrance of the port and Firkas fortress. Many museums, churches, Byzantine monasteries, Minoan ruins are some of the attractions and places of interest near the city.
The villa is located between the villages of Maleme (2 km.) and Tavronitis (1 km.), and only 5 km. from Kolimvari village! In this villages, you will find everything you need during your holidays: super markets, cafes, shops, banks, traditional taverns and beautiful, unspoilt beaches! For a night out, Platanias and Agia Marina (only 15 min. drive) are the best options, as you can find night clubs, beach bars, many cafes, tourist shops and restaurants.
Regarding the beaches you should visit, Falassarna beach (one of the best in Europe) is only 33 km. from the villa, and the exotic Elafonisi beach with pink grain sand is only 55 km. Only 20 min. driving, you reach Kissamos city from which you can take the ferry to Balos lagoon and Gramvousa island and enjoy a spectacular scenery!
We also recommend to take short excursions by your car at the traditional villages around and experience authentic Crete!

Near to the famous cities of Chania , Rethymno and Georgioupolis for great night and day entertainment but the most important with easy access to the motorway for the most famous sandy beaches of Balos lagoon , Falasarna , Elafonisi and many more.
